Due to ongoing issues, the cardboard recycling dumpsters behind Town Hall have been removed temporarily to consider future options.
Some of the issues surrounding the dumpsters include people overfilling the dumpsters, leaving cardboard around the dumpsters (which requires a considerable amount of time to clean up for our Department of Public Works employees), and not breaking down the cardboard boxes (leading to the dumpsters to become prematurely filled).
If you regularly need to dispose of more cardboard than will fit in your home recycling cart, you can order an additional recycling cart by contacting Waste Management at 1-800-866-4460 (and if you require further assistance, contact Town Hall at 412-364-0616).
