Sadly, this year's Community Day (which was to be held on September 8) had to be canceled due to unrelenting rain.

However, in its place, the Town of McCandless will be hosting McAutumnFest on Saturday, October 20 from 1 to 7:15 p.m. at the Town Hall grounds on Grubbs Road.

The event will feature vendors, crafters, performance acts and children's activities. A car cruise will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. at the former Trader Horn lot on Blazier Drive. The McCandless/Northern Allegheny Heritage Center will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.

The event will end with a fireworks show at 7:15 p.m.

Parking will be available at the former Trader Horn lot on Blazier Drive, and a shuttle will run from the lot to Town Hall.

More information will be available here as planning continues.

The Town is seeking vendors and crafters who would like to participate in the event. The event is free of charge for vendors to attend. See the booth registration form below for more information.
