[ARCHIVED] Pickleball clinics Oct. 13 and 26

Level 1 and Level 2 pickleball clinics will be held Sunday, October 13 and Saturday, October 26 at the courts at Devlin Park (behind Town Hall).

The level 1 clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon both days, and the level 2 clinic will be noon to 2 p.m. both days.

LEVEL 1 of INTRO TO PICKLEBALL — $15 for Residents, $20 for Non-Residents

This class will introduce New players to the sport of Pickleball. Players will learn the basics to get started and begin playing the game: We will cover the layout of the court, paddle grip, proper footwork, the rules, basic court positioning, serve/return, basic strokes, and scoring.

LEVEL 2 of INTRO TO PICKLEBALL — $20 for Residents, $25 for Non-Residents

The focus is on the key fundamental shots: dinking, dropshots, volleys/resets. Players will learn the techniques used for each of these shots and when and how they are used in a pickleball game. 

Registration is required and can be done online through CivicRec.
