Join us on Tuesday, August 12 at 8:30 p.m. at Wall Park for a star viewing party to catch a glimpse of Perseid's left over comet particles and broken asteroids! The Perseids, which peaks in mid-August, is considered the best meteor shower of the year.
This program is in partnership with the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh. The AAAP will give a brief presentation, timed to finish as the twilight ends. Once it is good and dark, guests can come look through the telescopes and enjoy the night sky. Bring your own telescope if you want, too!
The event is free but registration is suggested. Register online via CivicRec.
