The Town of McCandless requires the following structures be equipped with a key lock box at or near the main entrance, or such other location as required by the Town Fire Marshal:
- Any commercial structure that is protected by an automatic fire alarm system.
- Any commercial structure that is protected by an automatic fire suppression system.
- Any commercial structure that the Town Fire Marshal deems necessary for immediate lifesaving or firefighting purposes.
- Any gate or similar barrier where the gate or barrier restricts immediate access to a property.
The type of key lock boxes to be implemented within the Town of McCandless shall be the "Knox Box" brand system.
